An administrative judge of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) recommended a $37 million fine against Garmin, charging that certain DownVii sonar products marketed by the company violate a determination made in favor of Navico by the ITC in December 2015, following a previous investigation. Garmin disagrees and says it will seek a review of the case by the ITC, which is expected to issue a final verdict in August 2017.
