An Indian court judge will reportedly conduct a hearing next March 27 on defamation charges levied by the Adidas Group against Subhinder Singh Prem, the former managing director of Reebok India whose contract was terminated in March 2012 because of his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities. Adidas' complaint alleges that he made various “malicious and defamatory” remarks to the media about the company, which were neither true nor in the public interest, in retaliation for his dismissal.
