As part of the changes in Fibo's format for next year, the organizers have announced that the Fibo Passion area will be enlarged from one to three halls, targeted at fitness fans and trainers. It will feature a newly designed group-fitness area, a major hub for studio operators and enhanced shopping and active participation areas. Major fitness apparel and footwear brands have booked their stands, with newcomers including Puma, Karstadt Sport and TomTom, and a section for connected devices to highlight wearables. The shopping and show areas will be physically separated. Fibo Passion is part of the Fibo fair, which is taking place at the Exhibition Centre in Cologne from April 7-10. The enlarged space for Fibo Passion will allow the fair to welcome more private visitors at the weekend, with 35,000 tickets for sale for each of the two days. The Active Hall, where exhibitors and gym owners will team up to showcase the latest trends, is intended solely for private visitors, opening only at the weekend.
