As the kick-off of the 2012 Olympic Games in London approaches, Border Force officers in the U.K. have seized several thousand counterfeit products tied to the event. Fake versions of brands such as Adidas and Polo Ralph Lauren were among the haul, which included 432 Olympic-themed vests, 90 shirts, and more than 7,000 gym bags. Authorities are using intelligence sources, scanner technology and search techniques to crack down on counterfeiters.
