Asics America Group has opened the first flagship store for the Japanese brand in São Paulo, Brazil, the first move in the company's planned retail expansion in the country. The Brazilian subsidiary is the company's fastest-growing worldwide, reporting a 39 percent sales increase in 2010. The new store has shoes, apparel and accessories for running, while the second floor is dedicated to products for volleyball, football, tennis and other sports. It also features the Foot ID system, which analyzes a 3D model of the customer's foot as well as his gait to help pick the best shoe for his running style.
