Asics has announced the opening of a new innovation hub at its headquarters in Barcelona. The new center is to attract and support European start-ups focusing on sports and wellness. The center will concentrate on the development of new products and services with the aim of enhancing the end-user experience. The start-ups that wish to be part of the hub can submit their proposals up to June 30. The Top 10 selected proposals will have access to mentorships and training led by Asics at the new innovation center for four months in the areas of business, strategy and innovation. The selected companies will also benefit from a grant of €30,000 for the development of their project.
