Asics has announced the release of the newest version of “Asics Stepnote,” its digital children’s feet growth forecasting service. The latest version, with added features, has been available since July 8. Asics Stepnote was first launched in December 2021 and has since reached more than 13,000 registered users in the Japanese version, well exceeding the initial forecasts. Asics Stepnote is a digital service that projects the growth of children’s feet based on foot measurement data accumulated by the Asics Institute of Sport Science over more than 20 years. The service sends notices to the parents when it is time to change shoe size and recommends shoe models appropriate for the growth of an individual child’s feet. The service is being provided free of charge to members of the OneAsics loyalty program. It will also be offered to OneAsics members in overseas regions. The newest version is said to provide even more precise foot growth projections, thanks to the addition of the parent’s data to foot growth projections, as well as enhanced personalization features.
