At Mizuno, operating income improved by 13 percent to ¥3.56 billion (€21.9m-$30.1m) for the quarter ended June 30 while revenues rose by 7.5 percent to ¥46.92 billion (€288.0m-$396.6m). Net income fell by 44 percent to ¥2.30 billion (€14.1m-$19.4m). For the full first half, the company is currently forecasting an operating profit of ¥4.10 billion (€25.2m-$34.7m) on revenues of ¥84.50 billion (€518.7m-$714.3m). Mizuno has confirmed that it plans to invest in an apparel manufacturing facility in Guatemala, not far from its North/South American distribution center in Panama.
