At this year's Focus Open at the Design Center Stuttgart, Schoeller Textil's Energear technology won the Silver Award. The company says that this technology provides the feel of a hot stone massage or an infrared sauna, providing the body with relaxing, renewing heat. The special mix of titanium and mineral incorporated into the fabric radiates the body's energy back to it, promoting blood circulation and oxygen levels in the blood. Schoeller advocates the use of the Energear fabric in apparel for biking, mountain sports, trekking, hiking, skiing and winter sports.
