Babolat has launched a special new synthetic tennis string, called Babolat Origin, that combines power and comfort. Using an organically sourced polyamide integrated in a monofilament construction, called Pure Combo, it is said to provide an unmatched level of elasticity and flexibility for a monofilament string. It will be available from next month in three gauges. Babolat recalls that it was the first company to launch a tennis string back in 1875, but it was not synthetic at the time.
