Baffin, the Canadian brand of protective cold-weather garments, is currently settling its trademark problems in Russia by legal means. Baffin has assigned a local lawyer to take care of the case. A Russian distributor used the brand name, claiming to be the official distributor of Baffin in Russia, but according to company officials, it is importing fake products from the grey market. The products are not out of the market yet.
