Austrian board sports and lifestyle specialist Blue Tomato has opened its first store in Belgium. The 240-sqm shop is located in the center of Antwerp, on the historic Wiegstraat.
Of the decision to open a store in Belgium, Tillmann Ruprecht, Director of Sales and Service at Blue Tomato, said: “Antwerp, Ghent, Brugge and Leuven are cities where many of our customers already live; we record a large number of online orders from this region. Now we are finally present directly on site.”
Blue Tomato already operates more than 85 stores in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Blue Tomato has been a subsidiary of Zumiez since 2012.
