Zalando’s nomination committee has proposed a new composition of the supervisory board for the annual general meeting, which will be held virtually in Berlin on May 24, 2023. Current vice chairman Kelly Bennett, who has been a member of the board since 2019, would take over as chairman from Cristina Stenbeck, who is not standing for re-election. In addition to Bennett, the committee proposes Jennifer Hyman, Niklas Östberg, Anders Holch Povlsen and Mariella Röhm-Kottmann for re-election as shareholder representatives. The nomination committee also recommends that Susanne Schröter-Crossan be appointed to the board as an independent member. Stenbeck will serve until May 24, 2023. She was already a member of the supervisory board from 2014 to 2016 and again from 2019 to 2023. Bennett, who has been a member of the board since 2019, is a consultant to the leadership teams of Microsoft, Strava as well as Nubank and was chief marketing officer at Netflix.
