Berkshire Hathaway made pre-tax earnings of $1.21 million in 2018 on revenues of about $12.5 billion from its Consumer Products segment, which includes Brooks Running, Fruit of the Loom, Russell Athletic, Spalding and many other properties including Duracell batteries. Sales increased by 3.2 percent and pre-tax earnings by 8.6 percent. Total sales of apparel and footwear rose by 4.6 percent to €4.3 billion. The investment group has already reported that Brooks Running grew by 26 percent to $644 million last year.
