As part of its international expansion, Bike24, a German-based e-commerce bike platform listed on the stock exchange since mid-2021, has launched country-specific webshops in France and Italy, two major European cycling nations. It previously made a similar move in Spain, more than doubling its sales in the country.
The company plans to launch localized webshops in all major European countries over the next three to four years and build up a network of logistics centers to offer customers in all European markets a high-quality ordering and delivery service. With a new logistics center near Barcelona, the first location has already been found. It is here that Bike24 will be processing orders from southern Europe quickly and cost-effectively from the end of the year.
Founded in Dresden in 2002, the platformalso offers an international site, bike24.com, with a total range of around 77,000 items from more than 800 brands.
