Billabong has opened its first flagship store in Germany and the second one in Europe. The shop of 180 square meters in Munich follows the doors in Anglet, France; Manly, Australia; and Singapore. The offer comprises not only the core brand, but also the merchandise of sister brands such as Von Zipper, Nixon and Dakine. The store is located in a huge new shopping mall in the west of the city, called Pasing Arcaden, which has a total selling surface of 21,000 square meters and hosts 90 stores. The other sports stores in the mall are a franchised store of Jack Wolfskin, a Quiksilver door and shops of Foot Locker and Sidestep.
