Bioniq has acquired Vaha, known for its award-winning interactive fitness mirror.

Bioniq is a London-based firm specializing in healthcare supplements. The move is part of the company’s mission to promote health and well-being, which will now combine bespoke supplements and personalized home fitness. The Bioniq global platform, now including Vaha, is available in eight countries in the EMEA region, but there are plans to expand it into four more, including the U.S., by the end of 2023.

German-based Vaha’s home fitness mirror showcases real personal trainers who accompany users in a virtual mode through fitness programs. Artificial intelligence tracks users’ movements and allows for real-time correction of exercises in front of the mirror. Every Vaha user/subscriber can be virtually linked to other users and take part in live courses. Vaha’s interactive fitness mirror has been on the market since spring 2020.
