Black Diamond reports a 17 percent increase in total revenues to $145.8 million for the financial year ended last Dec. 31 on a pro forma basis, including the results of Gregory Mountain Products for all of 2010. However, sales outside the U.S. went down to $18.2 million from $19.3 million in the prior year. The gross margin went up to 38.7 percent, but the adjusted net income declined to $4.9 million from $11.9 million. In the fourth quarter, sales rose by 6 percent to $36.3 million and the company made an adjusted net profit of $2.3 million against a loss of $500,000 (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
