Action sports and lifestyle retailer Blue Tomato is expanding its offer to rent selected products such as snowboards, splitboards, boots and bindings. As part of the “Blue Tomato Rent Your Ride” service, customers can obtain advice on the products in several stores in Germany and Austria and then rent them. It is also possible to order online, with the customized setup then being collected from a Rent Your Ride store or sent to an address in Austria, Germany, Italy or the Netherlands. There is the option of renting the products for a weekend or vacation only, and a new offer is to rent equipment for the entire season. There is also a special rental offer for children’s set-ups.
Packages for all individual needs
Blue Tomato Rent Your Ride claims to have the right package for everyone, depending on usage behavior and individual requirements: “Season Rent” is new, with top snowboards and equipment available for rent for the whole season from €300. With “Rental for your vacation or the weekend,” snowboard rental is offered from €130 for the whole week, including model changes and service depending on location and package. With the “Kids Special,” snowboards for children can be rented for as little as €100 for the whole season or €60 for a week, with model and size changes also possible.
Test & Buy
Customers can even change the rented setup if it does not meet their expectations. And if they like the rented setup, the “Test & Buy” offer gives them a voucher worth up to three rental days towards the purchase of a new snowboard.
