The Italian sportswear brand has announced new partnership agreements with Coleraine FC and Gloucester Rugby.
Macron is the new technical partner of Coleraine FC, which competes in the highest level of the Northern Ireland Football League. This partnership includes the supply of technical clothing for teams and staff, including the first team (men’s and women’s), and the youth teams. It also provides for the development of a customized line of match kits for the 2025/26 season, which will also be available to supporters. The new kits will be worn by the team in the Northern Ireland Premiership as well as all national and international competitions in which the club will be involved.
In addition, Macron has announced the signing of a multi-year partnership with Gloucester Rugby, a historic English club founded in 1873. Starting from the 2025/26 season, the Macron logo will be featured across all sportswear for both the men’s and women’s divisions of the club. This new partnership further reinforces Macron’s presence in rugby. The Bologna-based company currently outfits seven of the 20 teams that participated in the 2023 Rugby World Cup, including three of the six National teams that compete in the Guinness Six Nations – Italy, Scotland, and Wales. Macron will serve both as technical partner and retail partner for both Gloucester Rugby, which competes in the English top league (Gallagher Premiership), and Gloucester-Hartpury, the club’s women’s division. This includes both the management of the club’s physical store in Gloucester and its e-commerce operations.
Macron’s consolidated turnover as of Dec. 31, 2024, stood at €223.6 million, an increase of 13.7 percent from 2023. The UK and Italy are the brand’s two main markets. Nearly 80 percent of the company’s turnover is generated outside of Italy, its domestic market.
