On has announced a collaboration with Japanese retailer Beams, which opened its first store in Harajuku, Tokyo, in 1976, to launch a collection featuring the new The Roger Pro, a shoe designed as a lifestyle shoe that also performs well on the tennis court. The joint collection will launch at Beams Men Shibuya in Tokyo on June 29, 2024, and will be available worldwide from July 1. It includes a thoughtfully crafted selection of sportswear and lifestyle products designed to bridge the gap between on-court performance and off-court style.
By partnering with Beams, On combines its technical expertise with Beams’ long-standing tradition of developing high-quality lifestyle products. Tennis itself is iconic, from the Grand Slams to the aesthetics and spirit of the sport, captivating communities around the world and influencing fashion. However, the sport is also known for its unwritten rules, unique language and closed communities. Beams and On say they want to work together to democratize the passion for tennis and combine timeless aesthetics with modern youth culture and street style.
Beams currently operates about 170 stores in Japan and Asia.
