American apparel retail brand PacSun has launched its first activewear line for men in the US, called A.R.C. (Active.Recreation.Comfort.). The 28-piece collection offers styles tailored to “the dynamic lifestyles of Gen Z males, merging active, recreational, and comfort-focused elements.”
The campaign accompanying the launch features up-and-coming young athletes who play a leading role in the community, including NCAA quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders and Carson Beck, basketball player Shareef O’Neal and US national gymnast Khoi Young.

California-based PacSun says it takes a unique approach to the activewear category by creating multifunctional, wearable garments that transition seamlessly from the gym to recovery and relaxation. With a focus on accessibility, a first-of-its-kind collection has been designed that offers high-quality materials and a sophisticated aesthetic yet is accessible to all. Building on the success of the Active and PAC1980 activewear lines for women and after opening a dedicated store in the Mall of America in 2023, PacSun now aims to capture the enthusiasm of the male target group with a range of active styles.
A.R.C. is the first collection in PacSun’s curated men’s active category, which will also include a portfolio of third-party brands. Following this initial release, activewear brand Y.I.W.O. will complement the assortment with a July 16 launch.
PacSun (Pacific Sunwear of California, LLC) was established in 1980 and has been owned by Golden Gate Capitals since 2016.
