POC, the Swedish manufacturer of ski and cycling helmets, goggles, protection and apparel, has released its third Hedvig Wessel signature collection, reflecting the Norwegian skier’s deep connection to her homeland’s dramatic landscapes and her innovative approach to freeride skiing.
The collection draws inspiration from Piggtind, a peak in Norway’s Lyngen Alps known for its stunning pink sunsets, which influenced the collection’s color palette. Wessel, the reigning Freeride World Tour champion, collaborated with POC to design products tailored for technical skiing and mountaineering, mirroring her passion for exploring challenging terrain.
The line includes the Calyx Carbon Helmet, Nexal Goggles, Nexal Mid Goggles and Devour Glacial Eyewear, built for demanding conditions and combining functionality with Wessel’s artistic vision. The Calyx Carbon helmet, certified for skiing, mountaineering and cycling, is limited to 50 uniquely numbered pieces, each featuring a handwritten note from Wessel.

“Hedvig’s talent and creativity make every collaboration extraordinary,” said Sofie Tenmark, Special Projects Manager at POC. “This collection truly embodies her dedication to skiing and artistic expression.”
Wessel’s career journey began with mogul skiing, representing Norway in two Olympics before transitioning to big mountain skiing. Today, she is celebrated for her technical prowess and natural approach, inspiring skiers worldwide.
