The £ 100 million a-year deal extends their agreement until at least 2035 and is a marked increase from the previous £ 65 million a-year deal with the German kit manufacturer that ran until 2029.

Puma and Manchester City have announced their existing partnership to be extended even longer. For sure it wasn´t hard to get along. After a lot of titles, for example, Man City won ”The treble” during the 2022/23 season when Guardiola’s team won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the UEFA Champions League during the same season.

Now, Puma and Premier League football club Manchester City have signed a long-term extension of their partnership, which since the 2019/20 season has exceeded all expectations on and off the pitch.

The sponsor contract is said to be worth at least £1bn. The £100m a-year deal extends their agreement until at least 2035 and is a marked increase from the previous £ 65 million a-year deal with the German kit manufacturer that ran until 2029.

The contract is thought to be the first £1bn deal in English football and a record per year for a Premier League club. In July 2023, Manchester United sealed a 10-year contract with Adidas worth about £900m, and in March 2025, Liverpool agreed a multi-year deal with Adidas, thought to be worth £60m a season.

The contract extension will allow Puma and Manchester City to continue to innovate and create products that appeal to the club’s ever-growing global community of fans over the coming seasons.

“Puma’s partnership with Manchester City has been a great success both on and off the pitch,” said Puma Chief Executive Officer Arthur Hoeld. “Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success, were exceptional.”

During the partnership, Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad(EDS)has also secured four Premier League 2 titles, and the Under-18s have won two FA Youth Cups and were named Premier League National Champions on three occasions.
