Mattias Björklund is based in Stockholm, Sweden and has been working as a reporter, photographer and editor since 2003. Most of that time Mattias has been with the Swedish sports business online news provider Sportfack. But Mattiashas also has worked a lot as a freelancer with focus on biking, surfing, travelling, feature and a lot other stuff.
Beside journalism Mattias has a master degree in pedagogics, he is a teacher in Swedish, English, Mathematics and physical education.
He loves being outside and as a true Swede he cheerish his crosscountry skis, his Nordic skates and also going for baths and sauna all year around. But the best way of enjoying the outdoors for Mattias is when he is going up and down the forest trails on his Kona Process around were he and his daughters live. Nature is always close in Stockholm and he has his office five minutes biking from the best area in Stockholm.
