The Open Championship, sometimes called the British Open outside the UK, is the oldest golf tournament still played in the world. This year, it takes place in Troon, Scotland. To celebrate the Open’s British Isles-inspired design, Puma Golf has unveiled the Fair Isle Capsule, which it says is rooted in tradition and pays tribute to golf’s oldest tournament by combining timeless Scottish craftsmanship with links golf heritage.

“We wanted to capture the feeling of being in Scotland for The Open,” said Chris MacNeill, Product Line Management Golf Apparel & Accessories, Puma Golf. “Fair Isle design is named after one of the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland and is a traditional knitting technique and colour palette unique to the area.”

The capsule includes a limited edition Phantomcat Nitro shoe with a wingtip design, Flexspike technology for improved traction and Nitro Foam. Other items in the capsule include polo shirts for men and women, a skirt and a golf dress.
