Brandwise, the Colorado company that specializes in merchandising technology for the outdoor and snow sports industries, has come up with a new product that puts its Visual Merchandiser on a tablet similar to the iPad, letting sales reps show photos of products as they become available from vendors, building up offers offline. This helps to streamline the sales process and free up the reps' time to write more orders. The new Visual Merchandiser works with the company's ShowroomElite/VendorElite software, introduced in 2000. Brandwise processed more than 30 million orders worth almost $2 billion in 2010, used by such suppliers as Adidas Outdoor, Patagonia, Scarpa, Osprey and Leki.
