Briko's Protetto System 2.0, a new safety system for Briko's Vulcano FIS 6.8 helmet, has been approved by the equipment committee of the International Ski Federation (FIS). Following this approval, it is now possible for Briko athletes to use the system during all FIS and World Cup races for this coming season. The use of the Protetto System 2.0 is said to make a helmet safer by up to 35 percent. The system protects the nape area, a part of the head which is particularly prone to shocks.
