Brooks Running has signed up Jeremy Taiwo, the 2015 U.S. indoor track and field heptathlon champion, to its roster of sponsored athletes. In addition to his gold medal from last year's indoor season, Taiwo finished second in the decathlon at the 2015 U.S. outdoor track and field championships and third in that same event in 2013. His father, Joseph Taiwo, competed for Nigeria in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games in the triple jump. Jeremy lives in the outskirts of Seattle, the city where Brooks is based, and competes for the University of Washington.
