Burton and Carhartt Work in Progress are teaming up on a line of products geared for mountain-driven functionality, combining classic Carhartt WIP designs with Burton's technical performance fabrics. The latest Burton x Carhartt WIP collection marks the third collaboration between the two brands, following previous collaborations in 2008 and 2011. The new ten-piece collection is described as featuring workwear-inspired models, taken from iconic Carhartt WIP pieces, translated into outdoor-performance items. The product line features coveralls as well as a selection of accessories, such as a pair of co-branded mitts and a waterproof backpack and duffel bag in Cordura fabric, among others. The launch of their latest collaborative collection was celebrated by the two brands with a special event at the new Burton flagship store in Munich on Oct. 17.
