Canada Goose has acquired the operating assets of Paola Confectii Manufacturing in Romania. These will now become the brand’s first factory in Europe. Its other seven factories are all in Canada.

Paola Confectii has been supplying knitwear to Canada Goose since its founding in 2017. Its General Manager, Giannino Lessi, and the Technical Director, Paola Zaffalon, will be staying aboard to run Paola Confectii as a standalone entity and maintain regular operations.

Canada Goose says that it will continue to manufacture its “core down-filled products” in Canada and its apparel at “best-in-class European facilities.”
