Castore, the Manchester-based sportswear brand backed by Andy Murray, is reportedly in talks with investors about a $200 million round of fundraising to support its expansion, according to a report by Sky News. The company has begun initial talks with prospective investors ahead of a formal process later this year, says the report, and has already appointed Rothschild to advise it on the process. Castore has so far declined to comment on these funding plans.
Castore was founded by brothers Phil and Tom Beahon in 2015. Murray has been a shareholder in the company since 2019.
