Catering to a growing fad and lifestyle in the country, Vans will be title sponsor of a 2-year-old skateboarding circuit in China. Born in 2009 as the Battle of the Silver Dragon, the contest will be renamed Vans Dragon Sk8 series and will tour six major Chinese cities this year: Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shanghai and Hangzouh. Organized by Wabsono International, it will start on May 21 in Shenzhen and end up in Hangzhou for the finals on Sept. 18.
