CCM Hockey, the Canadian-based supplier of ice hockey products that belongs to the Adidas Group, said that sales of its global equipment business advanced by 8 percent last year and by 18 percent over the past two years. The company attributed the rise to its focus on research and development, global grassroots initiatives and key player partnerships. CCM Hockey has secured four of the last seven overall top draft picks in the National Hockey League (NHL), including Connor McDavid, Nate MacKinnon, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and John Tavares. The grassroots programs include the CCM Skills Camp, which the company runs globally.
