Changing their minds, the organizers of the Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen have decided to take it back to its older end-of-season schedule. Messe Friedrichshafen had proposed to stage the show next year from July 31 to Aug. 3, but it gave in to the requests for later dates by Shimano and other major exhibitors after booking a decline in attendance to 37,379 visitors from 42,590 last year at its last edition, which ran from to July 8 to 10. Thus, the 2019 Eurobike show will be held from Sept. 4 to 7, and the last day will again be used for a consumer festival. Meanwhile, the Taipei Cycle Show will go back to its original March dates next year, running from March 27 to 30, five months after its autumn show slated for Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.
