Christoph Frechen has been appointed as global general manager of marketing at Intersport International Corporation (IIC), after nearly 16 years in the Adidas Group. The function was previously held by Franz Penka. Frechen has held several positions at the Adidas Group, mostly working as brand director and marketing manager, at the group's head office in Herzogenaurach as well as its North American head office in Portland, and in Tel Aviv. He reports to Markus Helbling, chief category management and marketing officer.
