Close to 400 brands have signed up to participate in the new Ispo Shanghai fair on July 2-4, exceeding the originally rented space by 17 percent, and there is additional demand. The confirmed brands include Black Diamond, Camelbak, Fjällräven, Mammut, Osprey, Outdoor Research and Point 65 from the outdoor sector; Adidas Swimwear, Bateau, Clipper, Epic and Feathercraft for water sports; and CEP, Life Fitness, Power Balance, Skins and 2XU for fitness. Some Chinese market leaders have also signed up including Black Deer, Fire-Maple, Highland Camper and Tittalon. Specific areas have been allocated for action sports, running and water sports. In preparation for the event, the organizers are attracting the Chinese retailers' attention through an Ispo Academy China Tour of four key cities between May 11 and 22.
