Compass Diversified Holdings (CoDi), the Connecticut-based owner of several sporting goods brands, including Boa Technology, 5.11, Marucci Sports, PrimaLoft and Velocity Outdoor, announced that C. Sean Day has retired from the company’s Board of Directors effective June 30, 2023, for personal health reasons. Day joined the board in 2006, coinciding with CoDi’s initial public offering, and served as Board Chair until July 2022. The board has selected Heidi Locke Simon as a new Director. Her term of service began July 5, 2023. She will serve until the next election of directors at the company’s annual meeting in fiscal 2024 and has been appointed to serve on the Board’s Audit Committee. From 1993 to 2012, Locke Simon was a partner at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, where she was a founding member of the firm’s private equity division. Prior to that, she was an investment banking analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She has also been a Director of Teekay Corporation since 2017.
