Coleman raised its net income by 86 percent to $12.8 million in the 1st quarter, despite unfavorable exchange rates and higher raw material costs. Sales grew by 25 percent to $228.1 million . Coleman’s profitability is expected to be slightly higher this year, which has been labelled one of transition by its parent company, Jarden Corp..
