Columbia Sportswear announced that its Board of Directors appointed Charles Denson as Director and member of its Audit Committee. Denson is already Chairman of the Board of Directors of Funko and has earlier served as President and CEO of Anini Vista Advisors, an advisory and consulting firm.
Denson is a true veteran in the industry after holding various positions at Nike between 1979 and 2014. From 2001 until 2014, he served as President of the Nike brand.
“We are thrilled to have Charlie join our board of directors,” said Tim Boyle, Chairman, President and CEO of Columbia Sportswear. “Charlie is a veteran of the industry, having served as the President of the iconic Nike Brand for 13 years. He will bring valuable product and marketing experience to the Board.”
