Compass Diversified Holdings (Codi) has acquired Crosman Corporation, a leading American producer of airguns, archery products, outdoor optics and related accessories sold under the Crosman, Benjamin and CenterPoint brands. It is paying about $152 million for the business, representing about 1.3 times revenues and 7.3 times adjusted Ebitda, to its owner, Kazmaier Associates. Codi will own 98.9 percent of the company, with the management holding the balance of the shares. The group, which sold Camelbak Products to Vista Outdoor for $412.5 million two years ago, still has two other sports-related platforms, Liberty Safe and 5.11 Tactical.
