Consumer demand for the new Louis Vuitton collection co-branded with Supreme was so hot that the brand decided to stop selling it at pop-up shops in Paris and Tokyo. A pop-up shop in New York never opened due to the opposition of the local community. The collection was eventually offered between July 28 and 30 at three stores in the Japanese cities of Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, but with big restrictions. The buyers were going to be selected through an online lottery, and each of them was going to be given a limit of 30 minutes to choose a maximum of eight items.
