Converse has signed an endorsement deal with Kelly Oubre Jr., a basketball forward for the Washington Wizards. This is Oubre's second such endorsement. He is to wear Nike sneakers on-court and Converse sneakers and apparel off-court. Nike acquired Converse out of its bankruptcy in 2003, the same year when Converse signed its previous big endorsement deal, with Dwyane Wade. Wade has been with Nike's Jordan brand since 2008.
