Adidas has decided to move its basketball operations in the U.S. from its North American campus in Portland, Oregon, to Los Angeles, according to Business Insider. The move would follow the brand’s appointment in December of Jerry Lorenzo, founder of the Fear of God brand of streetwear, as the person in charge of its creative and business strategy for its performance and lifestyle basketball business. Born in California, the designer had previously worked with Vans and Nike. The expansion of Adidas’ Portland campus, which began in 2018, was due to be completed this year.
