Amer Sports is reportedly offering to invest $30 million to upgrade its U.S. operations in Ogden, Utah, creating between 100 and 155 new jobs over ten years, in exchange for various local and state tax incentives worth a total of $4.08 million. The investments would include a budget of $2.46 million to upgrade its 480,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in the Business Depot Ogden (BDO), which was formerly a military defense facility. A City Council hearing on the proposal is set to take place on Oct. 19, according to the local Standard Examiner. Amer was already awarded a $1.3 million economic development tax increment package and a $300,00 grant from the state of Utah in 2019
