Authentic Brands Group (ABG), the owner of Reebok, is reportedly among the parties interested in Hunter Boot, according to Sky News. Neither ABG nor Hunter have confirmed the information, adds the report.
Hunter, founded in 1856, is one of only ten companies to hold two royal warrants. The company is controlled by majority shareholder Pall Mall Legacy. Private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners and Pentland Group, the owner of Speedo and other sporting goods brands, hold the remainder.
