Born Living Yoga, the Madrid-based company specializing in yoga apparel, plans to launch in Mexico this coming autumn through a partnership with Liverpool, Modaes.es has reported. This is supposed to be the first step toward the brand’s expansion across the American continent at large. Born Living Yoga will initially open 18 stores overseas, with plans to later expand its retail presence in America across either the U.S. or Latin America. Meanwhile, its retail expansion in Spain will revolve around its partnership with El Corte Inglés. The company currently has 15 in-store corners in the department store, which are expected to rise to 20-22 by the end of the year and account for 12 to 15 percent of its sales.

Born Living Yoga posted revenues of €8.5 million in 2021, representing a 93 percent jump from the previous year and a multiplication by eight compared to the pre-Covid period. The company is controlled by its founders, Arianne Puig and Álvaro Roca, who own an 85 percent share. Born Living Yoga launched in 2017 with yoga apparel and later expanded its offer with a tennis collection. The company intends to expand its collections further to other sports like volleyball, paddle, surf, running and trekking, as Modaes.es reported. Online sales currently account for 93 percent of the company’s revenues.
