Courir, the international French-based athletic footwear chain sold by Groupe Go Sport to Equistone Partners Europe at the end of 2018, is taking over Naked Copenhagen, an international online and offline retailer speicializing in top-tier releases of sneakers and streetwear for young women. The price of the transaction has not been revealed. Founded in 2004, Naked Copenhagen has a global web store and three physical stores – two in Copenhagen and one in the Danish city of Aarhus. As for Courir, the chain currently operates a web shop, 320 physical stores in France and 320 in the rest of Europe including Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Portugal, according to its website.
