Bosnia and Herzegovina-based fitness tech firm Rolla has announced that it has raised €6.3 million in a seed funding round as it plans to launch in 2024. The round was led by Croatian entrepreneur Mate Rimac, CEO of Rimac Group, and Romania-based Hellen’s Rock, the family office of Superbet founder Sacha Dragic.
Rolla was founded by Igor Krezic in 2019. The Rolla gamified fitness platform helps users track and compete while working out, whether indoors, outdoors or virtually. A beta version of its Rolla One and Rolla World apps were rolled out earlier this year. New features, such as diet management and health monitoring, are expected to be included soon. The full versions are scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2024.
The newly raised funds are meant to support the expansion of Rolla’s customer base, the growth of its product and commercial teams, the establishment of another regional development hub in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a European commercial hub to organize its expansion into Western Europe.
