Higg Inc., an integrated software platform that helps businesses take responsibility for the impact of their supply chain, has rebranded as Worldly. More than 40,000 brands, retailers, suppliers and manufacturers around the world in fashion, outdoor, home goods, toys and other sectors currently rely on this platform, designed to offer companies real data about their supply chain, products and operations all in one place. Worldly is the exclusive licensee of the Higg Index, a sustainability impact measurement tool used by apparel, footwear and textile brands. Worldly collects primary data specific to companies’ value chains, operations and products, providing insight into impacts across carbon, water, chemistry and labor. Alongside its rebranding, Worldly has announced the launch of a solution aimed at enabling companies to track and manage sustainability programs and Scope 3 targets throughout the year with third-party validation. Companies have traditionally collected resource consumption data by manually adding factory data to spreadsheets once a year. The process, combined with infrequent data capture, makes it difficult to track and manage sustainability programs and Scope 3 targets throughout the year, Worldly has explained in a statement. Its new high-frequency data capture capability is said to make it faster and simpler for manufacturers to share data on production volume, emissions, waste, and water more frequently.
